2003 Yamaha Road Star 1600 Silverado from United States of America

Summary:

Yamaha hit it out of the park!

Faults:

Had to replace gasket on petcock and oil change.

General Comments:

This is the first motorcycle I ever owned. Prior to purchasing I did A LOT of research on this motorcycle. Let me say "ALL IS TRUE"; the only mistake is mentioned is not for the first time rider, well this is certainly not true. I ride this bike on a regular basis to and from work and on weekends. Let me tell you "I LOVE THIS MOTORCYCLE". I will NEVER sell my bike, and encourage anyone who has one to care for it, or if in market to purchase a bike, you will not go wrong. TRUST ME! Worth the MONEY.

2001 Yamaha Road Star 1600 Silverado from United States of America

Summary:

Superb

Faults:

In 37000 miles of riding, the only part that broke was the fuel sender in the tank.

The reliability of this bike is awesome.

General Comments:

The torque of this thing is unmatched. With Cobra pipes, the sound even impresses the Harley guys.

Could use a little more suspension travel, but the trade off is a low saddle height. Fits me well for my size (6ft and 290lbs).

Even if I do buy a Harley, I am keeping the Road Star!
