2005 Hyosung GT650R review from United States of America
"Awesome looks, good quality, and great for the price"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
I bought the bike new at a dealership. There was rust in the gas tank, which they quickly replaced under the two year unlimited warranty. The warranty is actually very nice, and Hyosung makes sure that all their bikes have them. The dealer/repair people I go to are great and friendly, it's just that they are about an hour away from where I live, so that is kind of a hassle.
The only other thing that went wrong was the clutch cable. When I first got the bike, I noticed it was way too hard to pull in the clutch; it was like a mini hand work out every time I shifted gears. The wire was fraying and catching when I would pull the gear in. I had to pay to get that replaced, but I'm sure it was under $50 to do so.
General comments?
I LOVE this bike. It's not as expensive as a Honda or Suzuki, but it looks better and performs at the same level. I broke in the bike properly and was sure not to go over certain rpm's until I had hit the mileage specified in the manual.
The only annoying thing is someone is always asking me who makes the bike... cause it looks so nice ;)
