"Almost perfect"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
The bike is a CBR750. Exactly the same as the 1000, but all aluminium engine with gear driven cams and produces around 114bhp.
Nothing apart from the exhaust headers splitting. This was cured by buying a set for a 1000 and having the collars cut off, and new ones turned and welded on to fit the smaller exhaust port holes on the 750.
The alarm has prevented starting a couple of times, not Honda's fault.
General comments?
I had this bike after a 3 year lay off from riding and it has served me very well. Without doubt a seriously underrated bike that you should look at if you want cheap reliability and comfort.
A great bike that I will not sell, I will keep it as a main bike and use the new one as a toy.
