2004 Kawasaki VN1600 Nomad

The Nomad has been faultless ..

General Comments:

I have owned the Kawaski VN1600 Nomad from 03/2019. It is an 04 reg. I have had all sorts of bikes, but the Nomad is special. It came with a Corbin seat, Dually pipes and a Power Commander and a Dragon intake filter, plus a Cee Bailey screen.

To ride it's an armchair. The first day out, 150 miles. The engine is awesome; pulls from 30mph in 5th with no problem. The ride is smooth; only the worst pot holes getting through.

For a 730lb bike it handles very well; set up the corner, lean in, ease open the throttle, and the Nomad rumbles through.

The brakes are very good; use the front and rear together and it stops damn quick.

One point I will say, at 70mph on the motorway the mirrors are clear and you can see what is going on behind; no vibrations or elbows in the way.

It is easy to service; just oil filter and plugs, plus check the final drive oil.

All I can say is go out and try one, you will not be disappointed...

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
