2006 Suzuki DL1000GT K-6 V-Strom
Brilliant machine. Does all I ask of it
Two rear punctures.
Leaking clutch slave cylinder (repaired under warranty)
I have had this bike from new, and it's the most comfortable bike I have owned.
It's now 32 months old, and it's been to Ireland, France and Germany on three separate trips.
I have now got 16000 miles on it, and I hate getting off, I just want to keep on riding, even in the worst weather conditions.
The bike itself has more performance than I will ever use, it handles very well, and has more than enough power to out perform a lot of sports bikes, and yet will carry all my gear and my passengers gear, and can still make some of them look silly.
Although compared with other giant trailie tourers, it's not a fashion icon. For value for money, you won't beat it.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
