1980 Suzuki PE175
Most fun bike I ever owned
Carburetor problems solved by putting an inline fuel filter between the tank and carburetor, to stop dirt blocking jets etc..
Front tyre wearing oval due to lots of wheelies in the road... I think the front bearings were worn.. so the wheel always stopped in the same place!
The speedometer is self destructing due to vibration... ha ha!
I have owned numerous road and offroad bikes in my life.. the PE175 was the best fun.. most reliable, value for money..
I wish I had never sold it for a Yamaha IT200...
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes

I agree completely, my 81 PE175 hovers over my wife's DT175, and will bang a 3rd gear wheely right past her...

Hey, about the carburator problems; I have a 1980 pe 175 and I believe that one of the jets are clogged and stuff, so how do you think I could fix this? Just take it apart and spray carb cleaner in it, or what? Email at firstname.lastname@example.org
