2007 Triumph Speed Triple

Summary:

A fun, flexible hooligan!

Faults:

Randomly, the bike stalled in traffic. I had to bump start it down hill. Never re-occurred since?!

General Comments:

Brilliant!

The best fun I have yet had on a bike. I've test driven quite a lot!

The acceleration is awesome (as long as you can keep the front end down).

The in-gear performance is great, you can be very lazy and leave in fourth or fifth most of the day, there is just so much torque.

Long distance is sometimes uncomfortable. Though I have done Bristol to Peterborough and back in a day with no great discomfort.

The economy has been a revelation! Today I ran from Bristol to Gosport and then back up as far as Salisbury before I had to refuel. (153.2 miles and 3.06 gallons = 50.1 mpg, meaning a theoretical range of 198 miles).

I regularly get 44mpg from this, and she doesn't get an easy life ;)

I would recommend this bike to anyone, especially in Roulette Green!

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes

I have the Roulette Green, 03 Triple. It still looks new and goes like heck. I live at 7000 feet and ride it in the Rockies regularly in addition to living two miles from the pavement on a forest road.

The fast disconnects at the fuel tank may break suddenly, leaving you gas covered and stuck. I replace them and carry one with me on trips. I have ridden 19 consecutive hours in Baja, La Paz to El Rosario. A great bike, always admired wherever it is parked.
