It depends on the mileage, if it's been laid down, and how well the maintenance has been done (it's a Honda, so it should be good either way). I bought a 98' F3 2 summers ago with only 8k miles on it for $2500, so 2k sounds like a decent deal. They are awesome bikes, and for the exception of needing to clean the carb and getting rid of the original exhaust, it has had no problems.

I'm finally ready to make the move to ditch the stock exhaust and get a new one for my 98' F3. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to get? Also, should I re-jet the carb with the new exhaust? Thanks.

I own a 98 CBR 600 F3, and I was wondering if anyone has ever converted to the fairing from a 03-06 CBR 600 RR? This is a swap I plan on attempting, and guidance would be helpful.

My brother in-law has a Honda CBR600F3, and wants to sell it to me as my first big bike... It's been standing for over a year, but still starts and sounds great. Is this a good bike to learn on? I use to ride 125 and 250cc about 4 years ago, but haven't ridden since. Any suggestions? I was originally looking at the new 600RR.

I purchased a 97 CBR F3 with 27xxx miles on it for $900. This was a project bike. With less than $300, the bike ran perfect. I also spent $400 on brand new plastics and the bike looks new.

I am 5'10" 250lb and I make this bike go 140mph with no problem. This is a great beginners bike and it has plenty of power. Also a great bike for learning how to do beginner's maintenance and repairs.

Please feel to contact me with any questions you may have. Alex 239-eightseveneight-3220. I love my bike.
