2008 Mini Quadard 49 ccm from Norway

Summary:

Avoid buying too cheap 'quadard' 4-wheel bikes, as they might last only a couple of hours

Faults:

This is probably a chinese-built look-alike of the Blata quadard. The kids and I had great fun until the rotor and starter broke down after approximately 2.5 hours of driving, since new. It cost 2500 NOK, or about 450 USD.

Up till now that equals about 150 - 200 USD per hour of driving.

General Comments:

The rotor and starter "jammed", and the engine stopped.

There is probably no use in trying to get it fixed on any from of guarantee.

I know that I took a chance by buying something as cheap as this, but hoped it would last long enough to be run-in, at least..

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? No

(to message number 1 or 2) I think that you forgot to mix the gas with 1-25 2 stroke oil!!! Then the engine dies extremely quickly!!! And one more thing, 2 stroke engines last shorter than 4 stroke engines!!! (the mini quad has a 2 stroke engine!!!)

No, the fuel had the right amount of oil mixed into it..
