Hey, yeah I had the same problem with my parents so I went out and bought a technigas speed race pipe. My Speedfight 2 sounds ace (not like a hairdrier like most scooters). The speed has increased to about 55-60 mph and the acceleration is immense!!

Oi oi, I didn't like the sound much either so, grabbed a kundo carbon race exhaust, 60mph on the flat!! Sounds sweet!

The best way to make it go faster and for your parents not to know is to trim approx 1mm off the veriator spacer and this will allow it to go 45 with everything else standard. Then I put a bidalot race pipe on mine and the speed goes off the clock, and it sounds lush, and it beat my mate's aerox, which has a 70cc big bore kit on it... race exhaust.. 100cc cdi.. 100cc carb etc... good luck and happy scootering.

Leave it standard, if you need to claim on insurance they could find the mods and throw out your claim, stay safe.

I've got a Speedfight 2 50cc LC, and it goes 40mph, but I'm getting a Tecnigas next r racing exhaust, and I was wondering how fast this would now make it?

Do not get a Tecnigas exhaust as they are the worst, get an Arrow or Ginelle; I got one and it takes it to 58 mph, but now I got me a 70s and it takes it to 75. What else can I do to make it better?

You could add an air filter to it, it does not affect your insurance, and they are only about £20. I have just fitted one on my bike and it sounds much better. And I have got a Speedfighter Iron X edition.

I've got a 50cc Peugeot Speedfight 2 2001 model, and it does 35 tops. How can I make it go faster?.

I have a Peugeot Speedfight 2 50cc LC, and it has topped out at 55mph pretty much standard, except the exhaust is de-restricted, but seems like it doesn't have the power to do that again. How else can I get it to go faster without spending much money?
