"Although I get an average of 45 km/litre, the general performance as regards power is very poor"

What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?

Clutch plate change.

Engine knocking.

Lack of power.

General comments?

Apart from the bike being a 180 DTSi, there is nothing to it more than a 150 DTSi.

This is VERY POOR bike because my bike gives just 25-30per liter, it drinks more, but gives nothing (I mean that about sudden pick-up or acceleration). Please give the correct ACCELERATION or MILEAGE.

Hey you said that your bike gives only 25 to 30km per liter., what is the year of manufacture of your bike, is it a DTSi engine???

The Bajaj Pulsar is an amazing bike. I like the pick-up of Pulsar, and it has great fuel efficiency. I have a 150 DTS-I and a 180 DTS-I. The top gear is like a rocket and the top speed is mind blowing.

180 Dts-i Damn Good bike. Not for everyone. Power lovers know best about it. Only thing I want to know is that if I fit a thinner rear tire, will it increase its top speed? I know it will be little unstable. But I am mad about top speed, will it increase top speed? I am 48kg. I myself could do 128 kmph.

I get mileage of 45 km pl and a top speed of 130 kph. I am 50 kg rider. I want to know how some people tweaks their exhaust to boost the top speed? My Yahoo ID is shonti_kol.

Can anyone please tell me about the DTS-I technology, how it works to improve the performance of the bike..? I'm going to go for a Pulsar 150 DTS-i... that's why I want to know about that...

Hi.

I am planning to buy a new bike in January and am more inclined towards the Pulsar 150 DTS-i. Could anyone tell me about the practical mileage, speed and power of the bike. I want a powerful and fuel efficient bike (at least 55-60 kmpl). My email id is vgupta@chandigarhx.com

Hi All,

I got my Pulsar 180DTSI two months back. No doubt it's got great pick up and power, but I have been having some problems with the gearshift of late. Particularly, difficulty in engaging 1st gear and gears getting jammed in rare cases. Has anybody else had such a problem? Definitely I do not expect these kind of issues from a 2 month old bike that has done less than 2000 km.

Hi, all. Actually I want to go for Pulsar 180 DTSi (new model with black engine). Could you tell me, is it good or not?

And please tell me the average and top speed of that particular one. And the on-road price, which I found is 61000. Is it reasonable or not? Waiting for your reply... please help me.

I bought a Pulsar 180 DTS-i (black) 6 days back. It's a amazing bike. Too bad I can't drive it fast because I have to wait for the first service.

The bike has a good pickup. It's definitely made for the power hungry guys in India. I'd recommend the Pulsar 180 DTS-i to anyone who doesn't care about the mileage and loves to modify it.

Hey man, which to buy, is it a Pulsar DTS-i 150cc or a 180cc bike. I know that the 150cc DTS-i is more fuel efficient than the 180cc, but still I would like to compare their power and speed. What's their power and top speed, and can I increase its top speed by tuning the sprocket wheel, and does it give any problem if I tune it? My mail id is deeksh_hi@yahoo.com..

Hi Guys.

New to the page and need your advice very keen on buying a bike.

Either a Honda Karizma or Bajaj Avenger.

Need to use it for 18 days while on holiday in India, and then either get rid of it or more than likely, leave it behind for the use of my nephew.

Which is the better bike?

The reason I am asking for the advice is I will just buy on the basis of your experience overall.

I don't even have a choice of colour.

Hope you guys can help.

Thanks in advance,

Sunil.
