2006 Suzuki Boulevard S50 review from United States of America
"Nice light, easy handling bike"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Choke knob doesn't stay pulled out all the way. Have to hold it by hand or the engine will die.
General comments?
Very nice handling bike due to its size, yet is still plenty powerful.
The gear shift lever is too low, but I am having trouble adjusting it due to the kickstand bracket, which is on so tight I haven't been able to loosen it.
Seat is not too comfy, definitely will need to upgrade.
The handlebars are a bit narrow; I find myself clutching only the other half of the throttle. I am 5'8", 160lbs and the bar position is very comfortable but is not a sporty position.
The bike is a cold starter though. Definitely needs a choke every time. Even today, sitting for 4 hours after riding (in the 70 degree sun), I had to use the choke. The choke knob doesn't stay when pulled out all the way. I need to hold it in place.
