2006 Suzuki Boulevard S50 review from United States of America
"Handles very well, but the brakes SUCK"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
After only owning the bike for a few months, my wife took it in for its service and the shop had to change out the front brake pads after only 500 miles. I thought this was just a fluke, but I have replaced brake pads now 7 times, going on 8. I drive it mainly on the freeway, minimal stopping. The dealer told me that is "normal". Really? I have a 1980 Honda CB 650c with original brake pads and it has 32000 miles! Brake system is over worked and needs two discs up front and a disc in the back.
I also had problems the first few months with the choke cable breaking at the carb.
The seat is very uncomfortable on long (over 20 miles) drives.
