Hi,

I own a 2001 Suzuki Marauder 800 and I really love this bike, but I need some web sites to get parts and some good discount web sites also. I heard about the Boulevard parts; that was very good info, I did not know that. I'm looking for highway bars and extras.

Mark from Lancashire, England. I have owned my Marauder for over 8 years. The only problems I have had is when the starter packed up. When I bought the bike, it was loaded with chrome extras. It takes forever to clean.

The bike is reliable and has never let me down. I would definitely have another.

Hi there folks, I've just recently bought a VZ800 97 model. I would like to get a bigger/more comfy seat (& stay two piece). Any ideas where I can get one? And I would like to change sprockets, so it will cruise at a smooth 110km/h. Any ideas on sprocket size &/or things to look out for?

Cheers, Paul

I put a Mustang seat on mine, which was a great investment. You should be able to find them online.

I replaced my front sprocket (15t) to this 17 tooth. Brought down the RPM on the highway nicely. Only snubbed it 3 times relearning how to take off on it :)

I'm not sure where you're getting your valve adjustment interval of 3,000 miles, because every Marauder manual I've ever seen suggests a valve check every 7,500-8,000 miles. You're going to run off a lot of potential buyers and future owners of used Marauders if you tell them the valves need adjusted every 3,000 miles, which is just wrong information.

Hello. Yes, I'm a girl, just turned 23 and bought a 2001 Marauder. When I'm riding on the freeway going up a hill, the bike slows down into a slower gear. Why is this?

You may think I'm nuts, but I use Harley Davidson accessories. They fit just fine. As far as the seat for you, you have to do something about that unless your butt is made of steel. I had mine completely customized with gel and memory foam. The longest I have rode in one day is about 600 miles. I have put about 12000 miles on the ole girl since I bought it in 2008.
